Carl's Custom Amps:

Contact Form

To contact me fill out this form. Questions about regularly built models, mods, repairs, custom builds payment etc. can all be asked. If your questions require more in-depth discussion or you just prefer a call, please provide a phone number with best times to call (including your time zone). I do my best to answer questions as quickly as possible.

I am located in Las Cruces, NM and can take amps for repair in person or amps that are shipped in.

I do not work on solid-state amps or pedals. They simply are not worth the cost to repair in most cases.

As of the 9th of May 2023, Carl's Custom Amps will focus our line of amps and custom amp builds, vintage amp restorations, vintage amp repairs, boutique amp repairs, and the mods services we offer.

We will largely stop servicing most PCB board amplifiers. We will continue to service some vintage PCB board amps including 70s/80s Marshalls, Hiwatts, Ampegs, and current Fender RI PCB models. There are some other modern PCB amps we will work on as well. Please feel free to ask. This change will allow us to provide best services possible and keep wait times reasonable.

If you are unsure of the construction of your amp, please contact me. I’m happy to talk over any repair. Thanks!

While I am happy to field most any amp questions about my amps or an amp that you want me to work on my time but is limited. Please do not email me for help fixing or moding your amp unless you plan on bringing or sending it in. I do not answer inquires by hobbyists wanting advice on building amps.

I will be better able to help you if your questions are in one email. Be courteous to me and my other customers who have questions too!
