Description:
The CPC-40T is my version of the legendary 5F6A Tweed Bassman. At 40w It's a great mid/high powered amp for blues, rockabilly, rock and roll and classic rock players. It's loud enough to play at most any gig clubs. I also offer a 20W version that has the same tone but less power. For many players 20W is the perfect amount of power. The CPC-40T is great for players for which touch sensitivity and awesome 50's tone is key. It takes pedals really well too!
The overdrive is crunchy and full of character and the cleans are rich. The originals were famously played by so many greats. Buddy Guy, Billy Gibbons, Merle Haggard, and countless others some to mind.
Mine is built with all the tone and care of the originals but with enchantments that make them quieter and more reliable. They can be built for the normal 40W or reduced 20W both with 6L6GCs or 5881s so the 20W version has the same tone as the 40W. All versions have wide range bias controls so any 5881, 6L6 or 6V6 type can be biased in. No other builder makes a Tweed Bassman this good or with so many power and speaker options.

Two Channels: Bright and Normal with high and low inputs for each
Controls: Bright Volume, Normal Volume, Bass, Treble, and Presence, Optional by-passable master volume.
Adjustable fixed bias with Bias pots for each power tube allowing for the use of matched or unmatched tubes pairs. Now you can use those unmatched NOS tubes you have! It allows for balancing the bias as the power tubes age.
Hand wired for great sound and easy servicing.
