Description:
The CPC 30 is my version of the famous Tweed Bandmaster, Super and Pro style amps. The Super, Pro and Bandmaster amp all used the same circuit but different speaker configurations (2X10, 1X15 and 3X10 respectively)
The overdrive is gritty and full of character and the cleans are crisp, rich, and exceptional. The 5U4 rectifier and Alinco speaker combine to give it touch sensitive compression. The original Super/Pro/Bandmasters were famously played by Pete Townsend, Stephen Stills and many others.
At 30 Watts it's great mid powered amp for blues, rockabilly, rock and roll and classic rock players and can play most any club. The 15W version allows for earlier overdrive and is more useable for most players but still has plenty of power to play most places. The 30W or a 15W version all with the same tube compliment so the sound is consistent. A by-passable master volume is optional and highly recommend for players using the amp at home.
Mine are built with all the tone of the originals with lower floor noise. No other builder makes a Tweed Super, Bandmaster, or Pro with as much attention to detail or power flexibility.

Tube Compliment: Uses 2 X 6L6GC or 5881, 2 X 12AX7, 1 X 5U4 and 1 X 12AY7
Adjustable fixed bias with bias pots for each power tube allowing for the use of matched or unmatched tubes pairs. Now you can use those unmatched NOS tubes you have! It allows for balancing the bias as the power tubes age.
Hand wired for great sound and easy servicing.
Two Channels: Bright and Normal with high and low inputs for each
Controls: Bright Volume, Normal Volume, Bass, Treble, and Presence Controls
8-ohm speaker out with Extension Jack
Low Noise and great tone due to a special resistor selection tone
Galactic Grounding system and DC referenced heater system for low hum

Clean country licks to tight rock & roll crunch, just by varying pick attack. No pedals required! Tone stack is very reactive and the 2x10 webers are the perfect pair for this - I can't imagine any issues playing un mic'd gigs. No humbucker flubbyness as with my xbrand 5E3 deluxe clone - pairing this with my 355 is heaven.
