Description:
The Brownface Princeton has long been a beloved low wattage Fender Amp. Chris Stapleton is one of the best-known players who uses that model, but my great players have discovered its charms. It was the first Fender Princeton model to be 15W it’s sound represents transition period between the Tweed and Blackface sound. It has beautiful clean tones and a light bluesy overdrive that blues and rock players alike will love.
My version is more than just a copy. It’s superior wiring make sure it’s dead quiet at idle and has the best touch sensitivity possible. Other revisions assure higher reliability and increased note definition. It has bigger, better sounding output transformer than the original amp. I offer the amp with a 12” speaker for a fuller better sound the original 10” speaker. It’s also available with London Power Scaling with a SAG control in Deluxe Reverb size cab. This it allows you to go from full power down to 1/10W and all places in between. The Sag control let you dial in anything from crisp solid-state rectifier feels to saggy tube sounds.

“Carl,
I received the amp this past Tuesday and you did a great job!
The wester tolex works very well with the grill colors.
There's practically no buzz, or noise with this amp compared to my Fender Mustang.
The tremolo is so interactive of the notes played that it almost sounds like I'm
readjusting the controls
I'm working with the London Power Scaling controls.to keep a small amount of
distortion while lowering volume. I'll find the right tone eventually.
Thanks again,
Chris”
Thank you sir, this amp is incredible, it’s so responsive to dynamics and effects, just brilliant man…..What strikes me is the completely different sounds just with slight turns of the knobs.
I’m a sucker for simple pedals that change a lot with a turn of a knob here or there and this is that idea in a full amp. The natural overdrive is unreal with that limiter turned up and the volume pushed. Awesome stuff”
