Echoplex Pre-amp Pedal

Over the years the Echoplex tape echo has been the choice of many players to use not just as a delay but as pre-amp to flavor and boost their amps. It's got warm sparkle to it's sound and a very tube like response.  Recently pedal makers have made the stellar sounding pre-amp into a pedal.  The Carl's Custom Amps version is point to point hand wired and built with high quality parts for great sound a reliability! It's a clean boost pedal anyone can appreciate! True bypass!

“My take on the pedal -- It's a cliche, but it's an always on pedal. Have had similar echoplex boost pedals, this is heads above those.... Smooth and quiet, really nice range of boost. My rig is a LP into a plexi clone, and this gives it the either big push to drive the amp (no TS/BB pre needed) or minimal boost to smooth and fill things out -- and very natural sounding, no weird tones or artifacts. Last but not least, made by a real guy in the USA! Really stoked -- big thanks!”
